Colombia

Colombia

A land where the happiness and diversity of traditions is almost as great as the variety of climates and regions. In Colombia, people overflow with joy, good energy and their ability to always go straight forward will make you remember this magical destination forever.

Located in the heart of the Latin American tropics, Colombia’s natural wealth—second most biodiverse country in the world—cultural charm—dubbed ‘the most welcoming place on earth’—and innovative sustainability practices within the tourism sector, has made Colombia one of the most exciting places to discover with Naya.

Bogotá

Within more than 480 years of history, Colombia’s capital, situated in the Andean highlands at 2,680 meters, has today around 8 million inhabitants. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Cerro de Monserrate, visit the gold and emerald museums and explore the city, its architecture and world-famous cuisine.

Cartagena De Indias

Because of its remarkably well-preserved and repaired remains of the colonial past, UNESCO designated Cartagena de Indias as a World Historical and Cultural Heritage Site in 1984. An hour spent walking through the old city will leave even the most uninterested tourist with an overpowering sense of the city's historical grandeur and greatness, as well as the splendor of a bygone era.

Coffee Region

Embark on a hot air balloon flight over the coffee region. Feel the smell and taste of one of the best coffee in the world from a privileged place in one of the most beautiful areas of the coffee plantations, surrounded by bamboo forests.

Cocora Valley

Visit the valley and enjoy a traditional picnic in one of the most magical places on planet Earth. Exuberant nature, where you can see the wax palms, the country's national tree, with examples reaching heights of up to seventy meters. Depending on the season, you can also view a variety of birds, some of which are only seen in Colombia.

Santa Marta

Between the Caribbean Sea and the green landscape of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, is the Tayrona National Park. Enjoy various activities, such as bird-watching, treks to the ruins of the old Tayrona civilization, or simply relax on the Park's beautiful beaches.

Medellin

Enjoy the most important touristic places of Medellin, "The City of Eternal Spring". Explore the historic center of Medellin and listen to local musicians and traditional Guasca music while visiting the Berrio Park. From the center of Medellin walk to the famous Plaza Botero with an exhibition of the Colombian artist Fernando Botero.

Rosario Islands

A private day tour to the Rosario Islands is available. Begin your journey in the Cartagena de Indias Marina and travel across the internal bay of Cartagena de Indias, with a panoramic view of the citadel in the bay. Continue to The Rosario Islands, a coral reef archipelago of 27 islands designated as a National Natural Park, to enjoy the pristine waters and spend the day on board.

Santa Elena

Discover the true colors of Colombia. Visit this small village of traditional flower growers, located on the mountains of Antioquia. The flower growers, "Silleteros" are specialists who parade in the "Flower Fair", and are one of the most prominent roots cultures of Medellin.

Colombia has a great diversity of climates that vary from one region to another, usually enjoying warm temperatures year-round. Because it’s so close to the equator, Colombia has an equatorial climate with two well-marked seasons: from June to October summer or dry season and a wet season from November to May. However, the duration of these two seasons varies depending on the region and the altitude. Colombian climate also has transition months between the two main seasons.
