The Thorsmork Trail in Laugavegur takes you through three main glaciers, witnesses of dramatic scenery and some of Iceland's most beautiful and diverse hiking trails. Changes in scenery make hiking interesting. One moment you'll be in a rock cave admiring the cooling lava, then you'll be crossing a braided glacial stream surrounded by green moss. The scenery is rugged, but the hiking certainly isn't. The trail network is rich and well-developed, allowing women of all ages and fitness levels to experience the joys of hiking the Laugavegur trail across Iceland.
